Documentation: targets

This table saves targets data (e.g. for Ascent reports submitted by PIUs, for KPIs agreed upon in a SOLEIL service contract, etc.). It allows for tracking and validation of targets set for various metrics.
To import data in this format you can use our API. -> Api Documentation
Rate limit: 300 requests per minute. Once the limit is exceeded, any further requests will result in a 429 (Too Many Requests) response.
You can also supply us with files in xlsx, csv or json format. -> Example CSV

The specific metric for which the target is set.

start_value

Only period (.) decimal delimiters are supported. Do not use commas (,) — they will cause an error.

float

external_id

External identifier, hashed on ingress from the fields the target names in custom.identified_by, as a comma-separated list. Each names one of the columns below or one of the other keys the target put in custom. Which fields those are is a property of the program reporting the target and not of this table, so a target arriving without them cannot be identified and is rejected. Any field left out of the build cannot tell two targets apart, so a target differing only by it is the same one reported again, and replaces it: ASCENT names reporting_phase and leaves effective_from out, so a revised target replaces the one before it, while SOLEIL names effective_from and keeps it beside. On upload, give identified_by and any field it names that is not a column at the top level of the target, beside the columns, as custom is filled from them on ingress and a custom object sent with the target is not kept, e.g. {"metric": "ec_max", "target_value": 42000, "unit_of_measurement": "Wh", "site": "north", "identified_by": "metric,unit_of_measurement,site"}.
